CONFETTI: While the lions danced, shops along the streets sold confeti devices of various sizes, from the tiny "champagne poppers" to what I've termed "Confetti Cannons". This came from a confetti cannon which also contained these little parachutes. It was considered good luck if you caught the parachutes. |
